
Anthony (Tony) Harris has been an advisor on intellectual property, business process, and pricing models for Consentic since the early days of the company.
Tony holds an MA (Oxon) and an MA (Res). He is a business angel, entrepreneur, technologist, and thirty-year tech-industry veteran and co-founded Software 2000/Software Imaging in 1989 after which the company’s OEM software revolutionised colour printing worldwide. He exited in 2007 via an MBO and went up to Oxford to focus on his academic studies. Since going up to Cambridge in 2014 Tony has been a lead coach and mentor on the ‘Accelerate’ Entrepreneurial programme at the Judge Business School University of Cambridge (UK) where he focuses on technology related businesses and mentors primarily on intellectual property. He is also writing up his doctorate. Tony is a Cambridge Angel and a member of Cambridge Capital Group – both business angel groups focused on the Cambridge (UK) Eco-system. He is also a member of Henley Business Angels, and sits on the Investor Committee for Oxford Capital Partners a Venture Capital company. Tony is also an unremunerated non-executive director on a variety of business start-ups. As part of his charitable and pro-bono work he is the honorary Treasurer of Regent’s Park College (Oxford), sits on the finance committee for Kellogg College (Oxford), and is the Registered Treasurer of the national party for the UK Liberal Democrats (an unremunerated non-executive position). In his spare time Tony is a UK National Rowing Umpire and pilots light aeroplanes and light helicopters (although not all at the same time).
